How to Make Spicy Garlic Ramen

1. Making the Spicy Garlic Base Add one spoon of cooking oil, one spoon of red pepper powder, and one level spoon of gochujang to a pot . Add a generous, heaping spoon of minced garlic and stir-fry over low heat for about 1 minute . Be careful not to burn the seasoning while stir-frying .

2. Adding Seasoning and Water Add only half of the ramen soup powder and all of the dried vegetable flakes . Stir-fry the mixture for another minute to maximize the smoky aroma and flavor . Pour in 600ml (3 cups) of water and stir well to dissolve the paste before bringing it to a boil over medium heat .

3. Cooking Noodles and Preparing Garnish Once the broth is boiling vigorously, add the ramen noodles and cook them to your desired texture . While the noodles are cooking, finely chop 3 stalks of green onions and 1 Cheongyang chili pepper .

4. Finishing Touches Top the cooked ramen with the chopped green onions and chili pepper as a garnish . For an even deeper garlic flavor, add an extra half spoon of fresh minced garlic on top before serving .
